<BLOCKQUOTE ...>. There's a popular misconception that
<BLOCKQUOTE ...> should be used to indent sections of the page. This belief comes from the fact that most visual web browser render quoted text as indented. Remember, however, that HTML is not a formatting language and gives unpredictable results when you attempt to use it as one. Use
<BLOCKQUOTE ...> if you have a quoted block of text, otherwise use the techniques described in the next few pages.
